General Reservation Conditions

Restricted Dates: Reservations with check-in or check-out on December 31st or January 1st are not allowed. For these dates, the minimum stay is 4 nights.


During Holy Week, a minimum stay of 3 nights (Thursday to Sunday) is required.


Policy for Children

Children aged 0 to 4 stay free of charge, excluding meals. This applies according to the maximum capacity per room.


Guarantee and Cancellation

Flexible Rate (Low Season)

Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.


If canceled outside of that period: 50% penalty (100% if it is for 1 night).


Required deposit: 50%, with payment due within 48 hours of making the reservation.


Non-Refundable Rate (High Season)

Includes: Holy Week, October School Break, and New Year's (Dec 19, 2024 – Jan 17, 2026).


No changes or cancellations are allowed.


Requires 100% payment within the first 24 hours after booking.


If you do not show up and did not cancel, the reservation is considered a No Show and no refund applies.


Refunds and Exchanges

You can request a refund up to 15 calendar days after the cancellation.


Date changes are subject to availability and current rates.


Bank fees, taxes, and commissions will be deducted from the refund.


Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: 3:00 PM


Check-out: 12:00 PM


Early check-in / Late check-out: Subject to availability. Late check-out until 6:00 PM incurs an additional fee, especially during peak season.


Early Departure

Punishes with 1 night (low season) or the total of the reserved plan (high season).


Courtesy Vouchers

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before check-in.


It is mandatory to present the physical voucher at the time of check-in.

We invite our collaborators and partners to report it ethically and confidentially through the internal channels defined by the administrative or human resources department.

Hotel Hicasua firmly rejects any form of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (CSEC) in the context of travel and tourism. In compliance with current Colombian legislation (Law 1336 of 2009 and Law 679 of 2001), we adopt this Code of Conduct as a demonstration of our ethical and legal commitment.


Commitments of Hotel Hicasua:

  1. We do not promote, directly or indirectly, activities related to the sexual exploitation of minors.
  2. We do not provide information, access, or contact our guests with places or people associated with ESCNNA.
  3. We do not allow minors to enter the facilities for the purposes of exploitation or abuse.
  4. Our staff is trained to prevent, detect, and act on any signs of this issue.
  5. We maintain safe and confidential reporting channels.
  6. We inform national and foreign visitors about the legal consequences of child sexual abuse and exploitation in Colombia.
  7. We promote a culture of zero tolerance towards this crime in all our spaces and services.


Internal reporting route in case of suspicion:

  1. Every employee must immediately report any suspicious case to their immediate supervisor or the person in charge on duty.
  2. The management will be notified to proceed with informing the competent authorities:
    • Child and Adolescent Police
    • Tourist Police
    • Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF)


Sanctions

Those who engage in activities related to the sexual exploitation of minors will be punished with imprisonment, in addition to administrative and economic sanctions, as established by Colombian law.

  • Do not disclose confidential information.
  • Use resources and facilities appropriately.
  • Participate in training on sustainability.
  • Promote good environmental and social practices.
  • Respect the rules regarding the consumption of psychoactive substances.
  • Comply with the internal policies of coexistence and respect.


SUPPLIERS – Rights

  • Know the sustainability and responsible purchasing policies.
  • Receive payments on the agreed timelines.
  • To be evaluated without discrimination.
  • Participate in sustainability campaigns.
  • Access safe and ethical environments.


SUPPLIERS – Duties

  • Comply with legal and contractual regulations.
  • Ensure the proper handling of chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Do not disclose confidential information.
  • Send technical documentation of supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in training when required.
  • Meet minimum standards for occupational safety and health.
